Jalapeno Salsa

Ingredients
 |
3 ripe tomatoes, stewed, cored and peeled |
 |
1 small white onion, cut into wedges |
 |
2 garlic cloves |
 |
1/2 tsp. salt |
 |
1/4 tsp. pepper |
 |
1/2 tsp. oregano |
 |
4 jalapenos, remove stems, leave seeds, remove if desired |
 |
4 oz. water |
 |
1 tablespoon oil |
 |
Makes Approx 24 0unces or 3 cups |
Step 1
Stew tomatoes and jalapenos. Combine stewed tomatoes,
jalapenos, onion wedges, oregano, garlic cloves, salt, pepper, and water in
blender or food processor. Mix well.
Step 2
Pour into a medium sauce pan, add oil. Let simmer for 10
minutes. Stir occasionally. Cool to room temperature. Ready to eat!
