Homemade Granola

Ingredients
 |
3 cups rolled oats |
 |
3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans |
 |
3/4 cup coarsely chopped almonds |
 |
1/2 cup shredded coconut |
 |
1/2 cup molasses |
 |
1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
 |
1/4 cup water |
 |
3 tablespoons vegetable oil |
 |
1/2 cup golden raisins |
 |
1/2 cup raisins |
 |
1 cup dried cranberries |
 |
Serves 6 |
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325˚f. Grease a large, shallow baking pan.
Combine oats, pecans, almonds and coconut and spread in prepared pan.
Step 2
Combine molasses, brown sugar, water and oil in a medium
saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Pour over oat mixture.
Step 3
Bake oat mixture for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
Step 4
Stir in raisins and cranberries. Bake for 15 minutes
longer, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool. Store in an airtight container.
